i look around my room while i work on homework and imagine an orange tabby winding its way around my bed and up against the wall towards me.
laying in the sun on a chair.
walking across my arms while i type on the computer.
tail swaying and then finding a kink and snapping the opposite direction.
smelling warm and being a friend.
i want one.
and i think i'd want to name it Picky-Picky... just like ramona.
